    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly motivated Helpdesk Technician to join our IT support team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues. Your primary responsibility will be to provide timely and effective support to resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems. You will be tasked with diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, escalating complex cases when necessary, and ensuring a seamless technology experience for all users.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot Linux issues
    • Troubleshoot physical laptop issues (fan noises, rattles, display problems, etc.)
    • Shipping/Receiving
    • Data center work (meeting installers, picking up packages, restarting systems when required, cabling, labeling)
    • Order/Configure computers
    • Manage Licenses (Microsoft Office, etc.)
    • System Inventory
    • Facilities work when needed (e.g. plumbing, shelf install, cabinet assembly, ethernet cable drop, etc.)
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily Kanban, voting on issues, retrospectives)

    Qualifications

    • Working knowledge of Windows, Ubuntu Linux (particularly Pop!_OS), and MacOS
    • Google Tools experience (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Ability to work independently

    Good to Have

    • Experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell
